How important is a propaganda?
Propagandas such as Old Major's speech, the tune "Beast of England", the slogan "Four legs good, two legs bad"... At a glance they seemed to be ordinary kits which were produced at all starts of a revolution. However to animalism, they were the core values of all rebelling individuals, because the ideas planted in the propaganda was a symbol of the future. For instance, every time the animals yelled the slogan "Four legs good, two legs bad" or sang "Beast of England", all of them would become thrilled, because they saw and imaged the bright future laying in front of them. "Four legs good, two legs bad", this simple slogan with no more than 6 words would roar up a soaring spirit, a spirit which assembled an unstoppable force that kicked Jones out of the farmhouse.
On the contrary, propaganda also determines a particular line between right and wrong. If you chose the wrong path at the start, there would be no return. Just like Napoleon, he allowed greed and power washed over his determination on animalism. Using the animals' lack of knowledge as an advantage, Napoleon repeatedly used false propaganda to manipulate other animals. Propaganda was the best tool for Napoleon to maintain control, influencing the animals volunteering to work as his slaves without notice.
As a result, propaganda would sometimes be more important than the revolution itself, because propaganda determines the ultimate destination of every revolution - To a bright, positive new regime or a one way trip back to the reign of terror.
